How much minimum it will cost to enforce an Enlglish (UK) judgmentd in California?

UK Judge had ruled it out that it is enforcible in California to seek cost, if the cost were to be awarded on a litigation case. The dispute is between two estranged brothers and rise from alleged oral agreement in realtion to a property.

It can be done, yet the procedures are complicated and the judgment would have to be enough to make it worthwhile; and you would have to be reasonably certain that the US person has money, wages, or property that can be seized to enforce the judgment.

It will likely cost at least a couple thousand dollars to obtain a CA judgment following the technical process required. Then, whatever time and effort it takes to locate and seize assets, attend Opposition motions, etc. IF this is in Southern California courts, and your serious about hiring counsel to help, feel free to contact me.
