eight month answer
I filed complaint in June, '08. Defendant responded with demurrer in Feb, '09. Do I have a cause for entry of judgement ?

The time to seek a default (and then a default judgment) was before the defendant answered. Now it's probably too late -- especially since another two months have passed.
