Party B steals money from Party A, Party B then gives the money to Party C, who does Party A pursue to obtain his funds, Party B or Party C?

So let me see if I got this. B goes to A's house steels money, then he goes to McDonald's for lunch using stolen money. Do you really think McDonald's is liable here for selling him the food? Makes zero sense doesn't it?
