Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I AM ASKING THE FOLLOWING QUESTION FOR MY GRANDSON. HIS STEP-FATHER SPENT BUT $1,500 OF HIS ACTING MONEY WHEN HE WAS A VERY SMALL CHILD. HE ALSO FILED BK IN HIS NAME A FEW YEARS AGO. MY GRANDSON IS NOW 22 AND HAS HUGE COLLEGE DEBTS. CAN HE SUE HIS FATHER?

So just stumbled upon a pension paper from SAG showing my total earnings between 1994 and 1997 from my short lived acting career:

1994: $906.17

1995: $1,546.85

1996: $6,253.72

1997: $25,777.72

Total earnings: $34,484.46

That all could have helped me with college debt and even helped with rent, etc right now. Well, I only saw $1,500 of that whole sum. Thanks "dad" for pocketing the rest and taking care of yourself. I wonder what you bought with that money.

The key is the last sentence. Perhaps he spent the money for supporting the child. Unless he can show some impropriety while leaving his animus behind, I'd work on moving forward and succeeding in life.

I'm not sure about whether your son-in-law filed BK in the child's name while the child was a minor, or his own name, so I can't address that.
