Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Request for Admissions - what should I do?

I was served a request for admissions, interrogatories and production of documents by the D.A. for $1100 that was taken from my home in 2004. I'm not sure how to go about answering these questions / admissions and which documents I'm required to send. I am representing myself at the moment, but I'd really like, at the vary least, to find an attorney that would be willing to coach me through this litigation process. I have most of the questions answered and some of the documents to produce, however, alot of these documents are not in my possession anymore. Should I object to any? I need some help quickly, I only have about 7 days left to respond to all three of these requests ( I think )
