Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Rights of an Executer

My Wife passed away in Sept. The Executer tried to take everything that I was entitled to, away from me but was unsuccessfull. There are hard feelings between her, my Stepson, and myself. This Executer is using my Wife's name for a Bowling Tournament without asking me for permission. The State of California (DMV) is going to have a Cancer Walk in her name and called me first to ask permission. I want to know if this Executer should have called me first to ask for permission to use her name for this Bowling Tournament? Can the Executer call any person in my Wife's immediate family for permission to use her name, like her Son, her Brother or Sister?

Re: Rights of an Executer

Not certain about the use of the name. However, in light of the problems, you might wish to hire an attorney to remove the executor from her position.
