When Roommates Open Your Mail

My roommates are opening bills

addressed to me and then publicly

announcing on the internet that my

bills are due. What can be done to stop

this, and what can be done legally to

enforce punishment for this violation?

Print out ther evidence and take them to small claims court for $7500 each. Also write to the US Postal Inspector in care of your local post office.

It is a federal crime to open someone else's mail without their permission.

Your Postmaster General will prosecute if you press charges.
