Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Sexual

Wednesday, July 04, 2001

On December 2, 1999, in,and again on December 6, 1999. in,my wife was sexually assulted against her will by her truck driving trainer...She had completed truck driving school, and was in the process of truck driving training at the time..

It is our understanding that the trainer has admitted to these occurances, although he claims they were consenual, and no charges from either state have been filed against him.

At the present time we have two (2) cases against the trucking company...The first one for workmans compensation and the second for sexual harrasment...These are being handled by different attorneys.

Our question is: Even though we have these two pending suits against the trucking company, is it possible for us to file a suit against the trainer personally and if so what would be involved.

Thank you for your time and cooperation.
