Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I have a small room at Public Storage in California. Recently I was informed that if my payment is not made within 10 days of it being due (due on the 1st, grace to the 10th) they will lock me out of the facility. In the past, we have had until the last day of the month before lock out. Is this legal?
