Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

My son was awarded a claim from an accident that was put into a court blocked account. He is almost 18, and we need to get the money out to pay for college, etc. I understand I need to petition the court to release the block on the account, but I don't know how- what form do I use?? Can I do this myself?

You can try to do it yourself. You might check with a law library and see if there are forms available that could guide you and your son in that process.

You can if you are willing to research and learn what and how to do it. There are forms and pleadings that have to be prepared, and an accounting. If you're serious about getting legal help, and if this is in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me.
