Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I am being sued by a friend that i used 2 rent a room to. He left in may 2011 never to return i called i searched town etc. i took his belongings that were in his room to his new residence i txt him told him i was doing so obviously he was there because he responded he had items in my shed after being told to retrieve that he didnt come and get so i got rid of it now hes suing for $98,000 what kind of lawyer do i look for
