Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

being sued

i am being sued for selling someone a lemon car as they claim but althought this ''lemon'' is in fact the way they made it home after their vehicle left them stranded at my house can i tell the judge this and present my case as ignorance because i am not a certified mechanic i had no idea the car would need to be worked on soon ???

Yes, a real lemon law claim actually requires:

A car/street motorcycle/motor home still under the manufacturer�s warranty.

The dealership fail to repair your car/street motorcycle/motor home for the same problem after two tries for a safety problem or four tries for a problem that effects your vehicle�s value. Or your car/street motorcycle/motor home in the shop for repairs over 30 days?
