Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

possible suit

last night i was held up at gun point at a 24 hour self service car wash. there was a sign saying that the area was being monitored by cameras but i couldnt find any. i want to sue that company for having a false claim that gave me a false sense of safety.

Even if there were a camera, how would that have prevented you from being robbed???? The only value of a sign such as that would be to deter a certain percentage of robbers (those without masks?)who might be fearful of getting video-taped; I seriously doubt the camera was intended to provide a sense of security to potential victims.

That's the silliest thing I have ever read in my life. So your argument is that if their was a camera that you could see, you would feel safer with someone pointing a gun at you? That is what is known as a non sequitur.

The only way that you would have felt safer was to have a gun yourself, or a bullet proof vest.

Any lawsuit you would file in this state would be frivolous.

I would have to concur with the comments made by Mr. Roach. If I were representing the business owner against this type of lawsuit, I would aggresively pursue sanctions against you.
