Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

If my vehicle is parked on my property and is damaged from a conflict between my neighbors, who are gang members and an opposing gang. Can my neighbor he held liable for the damage as a result of their conflict causing damage to my property?

While the "conflict" may be the reason your vehicle was damaged, as a matter of law, the person or persons who actually inflicted the damage are the only parties who may be held liable. You may in a lawsuit want to name your immediate neighbors as liable parties, but you will be expect to proof that their conduct resulted in the damage.
