Legal Question in Health Care Law in California

Credit Card-Complaint for Money

I am being sued and have received a Summons filed in the Napa County Superior Court. I believe I need to respond within 30 days and I am about 28-29 days out. I do not know the appropriate form(s) I need to respond. Papers say ''Limited Civil''. I have gone to the Superior Court Clerk and they were unable to tell me what form I need, I have reviewed many forms on line but I have not been able to find the correct one. I need the form name and/or form ID number. Please help!

Re: Credit Card-Complaint for Money

After first consulting a lawyer, you would serve and file an Answer. If you like you may use Judicial Council Form PLD-C-010 (see www.courtinfo.ca.gov/forms). The contents of your Answer depend on the reasons why you believe you have a defense to the case (the running of the statute of limitations, for example). Google for [california pleadings answers] and [california affirmative defenses].

You will waive any legal defenses not set forth in your Answer.
