Re: Medical Marijuana License

To my knowledge, there's no such thing as a "medical marijuana sellers license." The people who are providing marijuana to patients, as far as I know, are calling themselves "caregivers." And, also as far as I know, they claim they are not "selling" the stuff but are merely requesting "donations."

Of course, medical marijuana's legal status in California is not as yet recognized by the federal government, and as of this week the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency has sent letters to many of the pot dispensaries warning them they could be arrested at any time; so, even if you have the necessary supply channel and the desire to operate a dispensary, this might not be the best time to start up shop.
