7 years ago,,,i was convicted for possesion of sales of marijuana.....i will hopefully recieve a cert. of rehab. in a year or so.....
im in immigration court now fighting possible deportation....because of my crim. past
Even after the cert.of rehab; will i still have problems when they bring it up in court( past charges)? how about after a pardon?

Whether your previous crime constitutes a crime for which you may be deported, or whether it will affect you in another way, really depends upon the exact conviction, whether your probation has been completed, etc. The exact documentation the NTA and the conviction need to be carefully reviewed, along with all of the other factors to rehabilitate character, etc. For further questions, please contact our office at 415-387-1364 or JBrill@JenniferBrill-Law.com.
