Whether your previous crime constitutes a crime for which you may be deported, or whether it will affect you in another way, really depends upon the exact conviction, whether your probation has been completed, etc. The exact documentation the NTA and the conviction need to be carefully reviewed, along with all of the other factors to rehabilitate character, etc. For further questions, please contact our office at 415-387-1364 or JBrill@JenniferBrill-Law.com.
It is possible this could cause problem for you, depending on details of the conviction and other issues that could impact your case. Feel free to contact me directly at 818 609 1953 or alice@yardum-hunter.com.
