Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

my boyfriend is in jail and he is convicted because of having 2 dui, hit&run and driving without a license and plus he has immigration hold what can be done?

One he's transferred to Immigration detention, he or you should retain an immigration attorney to represent him. He will be put in removal (deportation) proceedings and thus, will need someone experienced to defend him. Bond might be possible. Also, depending on how long he's been in this country, what kind of family he has, and other things, he might have some forms of relief in front of the immigration judge. Otherwise, he would most likely be ordered removed.

I don't not know what detention facilities he will eventually be transferred to even though he is in Northern California now, but if it is in California or Arizona, I will be happy to help.
