Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Is it possible to get green card for trading products from India to United States?

We are looking to establish a trade company with required licenses. We are willing to purchase a trade license. We will be trading Indian products, mainly grocery (like spices) to US Indian Grocery Stores. A person involved in the trade is required in the United States, can he get a green card for this purpose?

Yes you have a couple of options with visas based on your question. The best visa would be the L-1 visa. You can either set up a start up company In the U.S. Or buy into an existing company in the U.S.

You can get a total of seven years under this visa. Once the U.S. Company has been in operation for at least 12 months then you can start the green card process under the L-1 visa - this process is fairly quick as there is no labor cert. Involved.

For a further discussion on this visa and other visas that would be applicable; feel free to call for a free consultation.
