regarding h1b extension

hi

my 3rd year h1b is expiring by mar 2009....i need to apply for my h1b extension...please let me know, what is the earliest i could apply for my h1b extension...also, will i get a new i-94 along wtih my new h1b extension....

You can file the H1B extension now. If the extension is approved, you will get a new I-94.
