Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
International Marriage
I was born and live here in the US...my boyfriend was born and currently lives in the UK. We been seeing eachother for amost a year now. We're very much in love. He's visited me before but the last time he came for a visit...immigration denied him and sent him right back to London. I been separated from my husband for over 3 years and close to a divorce. Is there any way me and my boyfriend can marry? I cannot move to the UK cuz i have a son who is 5 and share custody with his father. What can i do?

Re: International Marriage
After your divorce, you have two options:
1. apply for fiancee visa for your boy friend, or
2. go to UK to marry him and then apply for permanent resident for him. You don't have to stay in UK during the process.

Re: International Marriage
After you get your divorce, you may apply for a fiancee visa for your boyfriend so that he can enter the US and marry you and apply for his green card.
