Depends. If you entered illegally & were never admitted, you start accruing illegal presence as of the age of 18. Moreover, even if you marry a USC, without 245(i) protection, you are not going to be admissible. However, you might be eligible for a waiver, pursuant to INA section 212, but it will need to be adjudicated outside the United States and there is always a risk that the Consulate could deny the waiver for failure to meet the hardship requirement and thus you'd be barred from re-entering the United States for 10 years. (If you are from Mexico, the waiver procedures are proposed to be changed, so that the waiver can be reviewed before the applicant departs the United States).
