if someone is married in the philippines to one person and then gets married in the U.S. to anouther person and then divorced in the philippines do they have to get divorced in the U.S.

Simple answer is: person has to be divorced before the person can marry again. Otherwise it is considere bigamy and it is prohibited under US law and most countries.
