Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

I am a minister and was ordained in an evangelical denomination more than 10 years ago. I am now a minister of an independent baptist church for almost 7 years now. Just recently, I had my baptist ordination. I had also a certificate (diploma) in MA Pastoral Studies and is graduating this year with the same degree. A church affiliated with Southern Baptist wants to petition me. Do you think I can qualify for R1 visa considering the 2 year membership/ordination of the same denomination rule and belonging to an independent Baptist church?

Hello:

There are different requirements for the R-1 verses the I-360 Petition for Special Immigration Religious Worker. It is unclear if you are in valid status in the U.S. or if you are even in the U.S. However, based upon what you have sent, you would qualify for the R-1 if in status if it is the same denomination.
