I am from the Philippines and now I am a green card holder.Will i be able to use my green card to go to japan and stay there for 6 months then come back to U.S?

green card holders may not leave the United States for more than 179 days in any 365 day period. So, either stay for out for less than 6 months, or apply for advance permission to remain out longer.
