Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

I have a question regarding the law of reentry permit. I went back to my own country and stay there for 1 year and 6 months with reentry permit. They say that I might be able to apply for naturalization after 4 years and 1 day of staying in united states. I recieved some information that I might be also to file 90 days prior to my eligibility. Is it possible that I can apply 90 days before I meet the 4 years and 1 day requirement?

Even with a re-entry permit, you may not meet all of the physical presence requirements for naturalization.
