Legal Question in Insurance Law in California

Car accident, damage could go beyond insurance limit, what shold I do?

Recently my wife had a car accident, she was parking the car in a parking lot and when it was about to stop, by mistake she took the gas paddle instead of the break. Because of the sudden acceleration she could not control the car and this accident happened. Her car first hit another car and then gone inside a Laundromat. Inside the Laundromat, it damaged few loundry machines and also the wall. My farmes insurance adjuster has send me a letter stating that the loss might go beyond the insurance limit. What are the options for me?

You need to immediately demand Farmers settle the claims w/in your policy limits. Write them, or better yet, hire a lawyer to make sure they protect you. Don't wait until the claimants get angry that they have not been paid.
