what is the statue of Limitations in California for bringing a Bad faith claim against an insurance company

Two years for a tort claim. But the statute does not run until the final conclusion of the liability claim against the insured, or if a first party damage claim, it can run as early as one year from the loss (exclusing the time the insurer is considering the claim.)
