Copy of Contract Agrement

I signed two prints of a contract agreement as well as my partner however he took both copies and refuses to give me one. Can I demand it or be released from the contract???

This is not a manner in which a partnership is to be run. Of course you have a right to the contract or you may disavow the contract as not being authentic as you have not retained custody and control and the chain of custody includes a potential adversial party.
