Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California

Is it legal to sell tshirts with a picture of a celebrity, like Harrison Ford, on it?

Or am I violating the right to pubicity?

Thanks

Generally, yes, by doing so you would violate the celebrity's right of publicity.

If you negotiate an assignment of copyright from the celebrity for that purpose, sure.
