Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California

I am making an android app which plays vidoes from a website. These videos are copyrighted. However, all my app does is play the video by using a link to their website video. So, in reality all it does provide links to their website and then their website plays the video, not my app. Am I violating copyright laws by using embedded links in my app?

I would need to look more into your business model to determine what violations exist. Sometimes, it can be as simple as getting a license from these websites to run your app legally. Give me a call to discuss further.
