Can you take quotes from song lyrics and print them in a greeting card to be sold online?

As a Franchise Attorney I must say only if you want to be sued for copyright infringement. If the song lyrics are copyrighted, you can be in trouble. There is a fair use defense if you're sued for copyright infringement. As you are copying for commercial gain, that's also a problem. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
