Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California

I have started a leather product designed business where I have created what i think are original designs. As I am now starting to produce them, I'm wondering is it worth applying for a patent on each item created? Do I need to submit drawings for them and if I do how detailed do they need to be?

Thank you in advance!!!

Depends on the value of the designs and the likelihood of copying, but as a general proposition, it's probably not worth the cost unless and until your designs become famous and valuable. If in doubt, ask a couple of patent law firms for a free consultation.
