Legal Question in Employment Law in California

ADEA/OWBPA 7-day revocation period and waivers

Under the ADEA and OWBPA at 29 U.S.C. section 626(f)(1)(G), can a 60 yr. old+ employee accepting a severance package and agreeing to a written settlement and general release also expressly waive his/her right to wait the full 7 day waiting period in order to get his/her consideration (i.e. $$$) earlier? I know the 21 day consideration period can be earlier waived, but can the wait time for the 7-day revocation period be expressly waived by a requesting employee and be deemed effective?
