Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Employer refusing Pay-Stub

I am on a H1B work permit visa and am currently emloyed in Texas. My employer is in California. The employer has been paying me for the past 5 months; but refuses to give me a pay-stub. He claims that he will start my payroll processing from 2006 onwards. I am not comfortable with this arrangements..Is this legal..? ( I guess it is not.!). How do I handle this..? Pls suggest.

Re: Employer refusing Pay-Stub

You can go to your state labor board's office in your county and complain. You might also send a copy of the complaint to the California Labor Board (you can find its address on the web).
