Legal Question in Employment Law in California

employment

I work for 3 companies owned bu the same 2 people. When I first started I applies to work for the 1 company wich was part of another company although I received 1 paycheck from the ''parent'' company.

Now that the company has split into 3 entirely separate companies is it legal for them to split up my time and require me to work for all 3 of the separate companies? I now do not qualify for overtime and I don't qualify for health coverage since I work less then 32 hrs at either comapny. Any advice would be great.
