Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was hired to do a job for a homeowner through a property Management company. I started to work and I was behind schedule but nothing was discussed on how long it should take. Don't want to decide that he's going to have somebody else to the work I was very happy done through the job and me terminated me told me I was taking too long. They still owe for the work that I have done. then the homeowners handyman said it was wrong and I need to be ripped out one of my rights. I already sent them an invoice for the work I have done but I have not received anything back no call no text nothing.

If no time is specified for completion of a contract, it must be done in a "reasonable" time. There is no way to tell from your question if the time you took was reasonable. However, if the work had to be torn out and redone, you aren't entitled to payment even if it was done in a reasonable time.
