Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was a lead at a warehouse I just got my letter of termination for abandonment but Ive currently going through their workers comp but since they took forever on my paperwork for workers comp but Ive been having trouble to find away to pay bills and eat because my company miss informed me or not completely make me understand how to the paperwork or how things work so still haven't got paid since the 10/19/2016 and my bank is on negative so ive been trying to survive but now I have nothing so what do I do I'm depressed and stressed which is aggravating my chronic back condition.

As a part of worker's compensation benefits, you are entitled to Temporary disability benefits. You need to be referred to a doctor to certify you for disability. You have options. In addition to temporary disability benefits, you are entitled to a settlement for permanent disability and future medical treatment.
