Legal Question in Employment Law in California

settlements

once a cases is over and one is required to payout, if thier are multiple people in the suit how are the fund divided? I know that a portion is given to pay legal fees, then the money will cover the origional cause(2weeks vacation pay and 2 month pay for not allowing 60 day notice) but what happens once these thing are covered and there is still money left over?

It'll depend on orders from the judge and/or jury.

Some money can be used to pay interest on the judgment; some can be used to pay legal fees. It all depends.
