If I'm terminated by my employer. How long does my ex employer have to give me my final paycheck?

Generally, if you are terminated, your employer must pay you your final wages immediately. See Labor Code section 201. If they don't, you may be entitled to a "waiting time" penalty under Labor Code section 203. Speak to an employment attorney about your situation for specific advice.

I agree. The only exception is an unexpected immediate termination for severe misconduct.
