Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
I was given a 3 day notice to pay or quit on 10/01/2010. I offered to pay half of what was due and the remainder in 30 days.They declined but have not pursued it any further. My rent is due again and I am wondering if i pay what is due now and they cash my check and pay the remaining arrears in 15 days, can they still evict me.

If your landlord accepts the half payment, the landlord would need to start the eviction process over again with a new three day notice.
