How long do I have

I am late on the rent and they served me with a 3 day pay or quit already, and a unlawful detainer summons. i have 5 days to respond to it and its my last day. i have no idea what to do and how long before the sherriff shows up to make me leave. please can you tell me how long i have to get out?

In an unlawful detainer suit, you have 5 days to answer the complaint. There are specific forms you need to use to answer the complaint within the requisite timeframe.
