Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I had moved in with my cousin and her boyfriend. Me and her tried to take herboyfriend off the lease and put me on, he landloard said we cannot do that but if I'm there as long as the rent paid is all that matters. The next month she told e she needed my part of rent so she can pay she was going out of town for the weekend. I got a notice on the door pay or quit and I went to ask the landlord about it he said she had given her 30day notice she didn't notify me or tell me she told me she had paid the rent. Now me and my kids are gonna soon have to be out and have no money to go I asked her landlord for a contact or previous address so I can contact her he said legally he cant but if I was there and she basically stole my money do I have the right to this information?

I do not know why the landlord claims he can not give you the address. Make a police report for stealing the money under false pretenses, ask the police if they will go to the landlord to get her new address so that you can sue her civilly.
