Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I moved out of a rental house and the rental agent is charging me exorbitant prices in order to keep my deposit money. For example, the microwave that was to stay in the house accidentally got packed up and moved. She is charging me $500 to replace it when I can buy an new one the exact model for $63 at Home Depot. The same for cleaning ($600) and hauling ($720 and nothing to haul). She rarely responds to email or mail. I've sent both with no response about the charges. I looked her up on Yelp and Yahoo reviews and she has horrible reviews with horror stories like mine. Is there anything I can do to change the amounts to realistic amounts? I don't mind paying a fair amount, but this is way too much.

Consider going to small claims court. Bring published ads for the same microwave. Show the court the unreasonableness of the other expenses. Ask for interest on the withheld money.
