The park owner cannot place a lien that is "of record" without first obtaining a judgment. Any claim of lien prior to entry of a judgment is essentially worthless because there is no record of the lien, and the home may be sold outside the park free and clear of the lien. If the home is going to be sold inside the park, the park owner is going to require that the past-due rent be paid before approving anyone to buy and live in your home. Unless you are selling the home to be pulled out of the park, you will have to pay the rent regardless of a lien.
