If a new company takes over your apartment complex and you want or need to move are you still under the old lease of the prior company if you have not signed anything for the new company?

Re: Rental lease

No, you are still under the lease with the old company. If you receive no notice, you are to continue to make rent payments to the old company until you are told to do otherwise. If the new company does not follow the lease with the old company, you can require the old company to reimburse you for your losses.
