Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

tenant harassment

My mother manages a mobilehome park that I reside in. My problem is, a tenants girlfriend (who is no longer on the rental agreement) verbally harasses me. Calling me names, trying to pick fights, etc. Obviously we don't get along. Eventually we are going to get into it, my question is, can my mom be liable for my actions? Or for that matter, can the park be sued because I am the manager's daughter? Is there a way to legally remove her from the park permenantly? I do help my mom a great deal with park business and do not want to get her into any trouble, but I have just about had enough with this woman. What can I do? She really wants me to do something stupid so she can turn around and sue. Please help, any advise is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Sorry you have to deal with this idiot. However, you cannot fight her! Your mother and the owners of the park would probably be liable for your actions. Civil remedies are available to protect you. I can handle your case for a reasonable flat fee. Give me a call at (415)364-1604 if you want to discuss this matter.

Best of luck and God Bless,
