Does the City in which you live have any rental control ordinances or eviction controls? Call City Hall to find out. You can not be evicted for reporting violations of health and safety regulations and landlord can be sued and made to pay a penalty for doing so. You must also be given reasonable notice [24 hours is deemed to be such] before anyone can enter your residence. But the matter is complicated by the possibility you will lose your job if take hard position [unless you have a contract of employment, you can be terminated for no reason]. You need to see a tenants' attorney; there should be some pro-tenants organization your City or a nearby one that you could contact for a list of attorneys.

Mr. Shers' answer is superb, and right on target. Since you don't indicate what the violations are, you do not appear to be interested in that area of the law. Again, your problem is complicated by your "boss's" involvement. You are entitled to a minimum of 24 hours notice regarding prospective buyers, but it doesn't seem like you really should assert your legal rights, if you wish to keep your job. Good luck.
