Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

attorney driving on suspended license

How does an attorney get away in the eyes of the courts with getting multiple tickets at least 1 a year for the same repetitive violations for failing to register her vehicle and not having proof of ins and now the latest one driving on a suspended license? Isnt this some kind of unethical duty this attorney is portraying?? Also what kind of punishment could she be facing?

Re: attorney driving on suspended license

The attoney's driver's license could be suspended, the attorney could face stiff penalties for driving without a license, etc.

As long as the attorney is competently representing her client, I wouldn't worry about her driving issues, although the DMV might do so.
