Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

When the car dealer sends a "Notice of Election to Cancel" does it have to be sent by certified mail? What if they send it and it is dated before they sent it so they could make the 10 mark?

Another yo-yo sale question. If it's not postmarked within the 10 days, ignore it. If they repo the car, sue. I've won yo-yo sale lawsuits before.
